Delivery

  1. Upon receiving the delivery, it's important to thoroughly inspect all items for any packaging or product damage. Additionally, cross-check the quantity of products received with the delivery note. If you come across any damaged or missing items, please notify us at hello@cardiffbathroomstore.co.uk within seven days of receiving the delivery. Please be aware that we won't be held accountable for damages or missing items if not reported within this stipulated timeframe.
  2. Deliveries will take place from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm, excluding Bank Holidays.
  3. Our Customer Service Team will contact you on the contact number you've provided a day before the scheduled delivery.
  4. On the day of delivery, our driver will also give you a pre-delivery call on the contact number you've provided.
  5. Deliveries will be carried out using the PJH fleet with a single driver or through an authorized carrier when appropriate.
  6. If delivered through the PJH fleet, assistance may be needed from you for unloading the products, depending on their weight.
  7. During product delivery, our aim is to place the items in a secure and easily accessible location.
  8. A signature acknowledging the accuracy and quality of the delivered products is required upon delivery.
  9. In the event that surplus products are delivered (within the ordered quantity) and a return is agreed upon, a restocking charge of £25 per order will be incurred, for which you will be responsible.


Delivery Requirements:

  • Are there any weight or height restrictions on the roads leading to your property?
  • Would a vehicle the size of a fire engine encounter difficulties accessing the roads leading to your property?
  • Are there low bridges, overhanging trees, or cables that could pose an issue?
  • Is there a time constraint for waiting outside your property?

Deliveries will be scheduled between 07:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday.


While we strive to meet all agreed-upon dates and times, unforeseen circumstances may affect our ability to do so. Therefore, we advise against scheduling any professional tradespeople until you have received and inspected your goods.


*Explanation of Kerbside Delivery:

All our deliveries are considered kerbside only. This means that your order will be delivered on a pallet or separately (depending on size) and will be placed at the nearest flat, hard, and accessible location to your property. This defines our interpretation of a 'kerbside delivery'. The PJH Delivery Team is not covered to enter your property or unpack your order. However, our delivery driver is ultimately responsible for offloading your order sensibly and ensuring the safety of your product. Depending on the product's size and weight, the delivery driver may require assistance with unloading.


Returns


You can initiate a return for any defective products that do not function as per the manufacturer's guidelines, following the outlined sections.

  1. A return request is applicable for products that exceed your needs and must be initiated within 28 days of the delivery date.
  2. Custom order items that exceed your needs are non-returnable.
  3. Miele products that exceed your requirements are non-returnable.
  4. The product's condition must be verified when requesting a return.


Faulty Products



  1. Bathroom products returned due to faults will undergo examination by our suppliers. A refund for the purchase price, either in part or in full, will be issued only after the inspection, and if we reasonably determine that the product is indeed faulty, as outlined in the subsequent sections.
  2. It's essential to promptly report products as faulty, within a maximum of 5 days from the date of delivery. Please be aware that we cannot assume responsibility for any faulty products reported beyond this timeframe.
  3. Once a product is reported as faulty, refrain from using or operating it to prevent any further damage while the product is in your possession.
  4. Payments for products are to be made in adherence to our established trading terms. Payment is expected from you regardless of whether a claim of faulty products has been lodged. Payments will be expected in line with our agreed trading terms until we reasonably confirm that the product is faulty.
  5. Sinks and taps identified as faulty upon return will be sent back to the manufacturer for assessment. Credit will be granted, either in part or in full, as per the manufacturer's determination, following inspection.



Surplus to Requirements Products


  1. All products must be returned within a thirty-day period from their original delivery, maintaining their original packaging and in a condition suitable for resale.
  2. Cardiff Bathroom Store holds the right to request photographs of the products intended for return to validate their condition upon return.
  3. An established re-stocking fee of £25 per order will be applicable and must be settled following our agreed payment terms.
  4. Products exceeding your requirements, but reported after the initial thirty-day period from delivery, are ineligible for return.
  5. Miele products that surpass your needs cannot be accepted for return.


Returns Process


  1. To initiate a return, please send an email to hello@cardiffbathroomstore.co.uk.
  2. A return will be initiated by us only when the goods are available for collection and meet the criteria for either a faulty product or a product exceeding your requirements.
  3. Our supplier will make reasonable efforts to collect the products within three days of the return being initiated.
  4. Our supplier will attempt to collect the return twice. If both attempts are unsuccessful, the return will be canceled.
  5. During the collection, the returned goods must be presented in line with the specified reason for return.
  6. Our supplier's drivers are instructed not to accept any products for return that do not meet the criteria for being faulty or surplus to requirements.
  7. The collection of products by us does not automatically guarantee a full credit. If the products received deviate from the condition stated on the paperwork, Cardiff Bathroom Store reserves the right to decline any refund.
  8. Credits for returned products may take up to 7 days following inspection by the manufacturer. Please note: Manufacturer agreement times may vary.
